Polymer Consulting Group (PCG) is a premier boutique laboratory and technical service provider located in the Texas Brazos Valley in Bryan, TX. PCG provides laboratory testing, consulting, and scientific expert witness services covering a broad spectrum of physical material characterization and processing technologies. Since its founding in 2003, PCG has rendered technical consulting services to dozens of clients in the polymer scientific community from industry as well as academia. As the premiere service provider in the field of polymer melt extensional rheology characterization and analysis, we offer a one-of-a-kind expertise in understanding the role of rheology in polymer processing and manufacturing-related issues and melt instabilities.
As a preeminent physical testing laboratory capable of standardized as well as custom material testing methods and protocols, we often handle customer projects that require innovative and unconventional approaches to physical testing which large conventional testing facilities simply can't offer. As a result, we routinely develop new material testing protocols, fixturing and novel laboratory-scale material processing apparatus for our customers that require out-of-the-box solutions. Quite frankly, customers usually come to us when they are confronted with particularly challenging polymer processing and/or materials-related product performance problems, and to date, we haven't faced a customer challenge we haven't been able to resolve.
In addition to the testing and consulting services that we offer to our industrial and academic customers, PCG provides technical support and expert witness services to the scientific legal community both domestically and abroad. PCG also offers technical seminars and training sessions to industrial and academic customers in the fields of rheology and physical material characterization techniques.
